I am always happy to meet with clients to discuss their projects in person, but I know this is not always possible.

We will need to discuss a few things before we start, but this can easily be done with a phone or video call at a time that suits you.

Every website I design is custom-built to achieve your specific goals and meet your audience’s needs. I will work with you transparently to ensure you make the most of your budget as I develop your website.

As a general guide, a start-up brochure-style website costs from £800, a more complex brochure-style website from £1,200 and an e-commerce website from £1,500.

This varies depending on your exact requirements. I complete many projects in just a few weeks, while more complex projects may take a few months. After initial discussion of your project, I will agree a timescale with you.

Web hosting is the service that keeps your website online, and is an important consideration for any successful online business. Your website needs a dependable, responsive and affordable host.

I offer Linux-based, WordPress-compatible cloud-hosting with secure sockets layer (SSL) for speed, security and performance. I protect email accounts with anti-virus scanning and anti-spam filtering, and my conditions of use ensure your website is hosted in a safe, secure and reliable hosting environment.

For web hosting I charge £12 per month for a brochure-style website and £20 per month for an e-commerce site, with a minimum term of one year.

Yes, absolutely. I work with many trusted, experienced colleagues across a range of creative disciplines, including copy writing, photography, filmmaking and illustration. I will be happy to connect you with the right professionals to stylishly and efficiently meet your content needs.

Yes. Good photographs make almost every website far more inviting. I work closely with several photographers, including a local photographer who can come to your London location to capture the perfect image for your website. I also source high-quality photographs and illustrations for websites from the huge ranges held by stock photography libraries.

We will discuss your imagery ideas and needs at an early stage and factor these into your website’s budget and timescale.

Yes. You will own everything that I build for you, and will then have the choice of retaining any or all of my ongoing support services.

Most of my clients continue to work with me for the lifetime of their websites. If at any time you decide to have your website hosted elsewhere, I will be happy to help you make the transition, as effortlessly and efficiently as possible.

I can maintain CMS-based websites, and the ongoing support services I offer are very popular. Not all businesses have the time to update their websites and for that reason, I can handle updates on your behalf, as per your instructions.

For £7.50/month I can update your website’s theme, plug-ins and WordPress version when security patches or extra functionalities are released and create a monthly back-up off-site.

Yes. Once their new website is complete, clients often retain my ongoing support services. These range from regularly updating content to producing complementary digital/print assets. I offer all my clients ongoing, retainer-based support for an agreed fixed fee or my pay-as-you-go rate of £40/hour as they prefer.

No. That is a promise. I don’t believe in hidden fees or unexpected bills. I am completely transparent about all costs before starting any projects, so you will know exactly how much you will pay and when before work on your website begins.

I’m afraid not. I only support websites that I have fully built. I have this policy so that I can confidently take full responsibility for everything that I create for my clients, and for making sure they are happy with the results. Also, functionality could be compromised where multiple developers touch the same code over time.
